the storm

Hackberry tree downed on the street that runs by our house, 6:30 a.m. morning after the storm. These trees tend to break in half or snap at the root when they become rainsoaked due to being very soft wood. I would like to cut all of them that are in my yard! Thanks for your concern. We're okay but it was a scary night. The tornado siren at the high school next door went off ten times before we went to bed, then woke us at least four more times during the night. It's very sad that so many people lost their lives, or their homes last night. Horrible. All reports from friends and relatives in Memphis are good too, I am happy to report.

I guess I've been lost in my own little world as I hadn't read the news until a few minutes before I saw your post. Saw photos in the NYTimes -- what a mess.

Glad to hear that things were/are okay.
