Happy coffee hour at Camp Flanders-Camp.A Connecticut Bonnaroonie at (erm) morning coffee.
There are more stories to tell. I can speak best for Camp Sick but will try to give you some idea of the success of Camp Flanders-Camp and Camp ET & KT.
Camp Flanders-Camp and Camp ET & KT were by far better funded than Camp Sick. In its nascent form, Camp Flanders-Camp was envisioned to be a family adventure. It morphed into a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation and celebration of Nathan's graduation with three of his friends, all of whom will be parting soon for their various Northeastern boarding school destinies. It was a big success judging by the frequent smiles on all participants.
There were morning strategy sessions at Camp Flanders-Camp that seemed more serious than a Situation Room brainstorming...Photo courtesy of Erol Triplett.
Camp ET & KT was situated in a tony area a couple of rows beyond the 'green fence' (the V.I.P. area) in the R.V. camping area. Real estate was a bit more compromised, but the cool vibe (no pun intended) in the camp, and the adjoining neighbors, more than made up for that. I say no pun intended because this camp was also one of the best kept culinary stashes and air conditioned secrets at Bonnaroo. Hospitality was of the utmost importance.
Note: The small 8' flatbed trailer on the left, a white plywood box construction was a neighbor to Camp ET & KT from Dixon, TN. This guy built his 'icebox' himself. It was big enough for two and came complete with a small 'window unit' air conditioner, powered by a gas generator positioned on the back of the pickup truck hauling said trailer. If you study the photo carefully you can just make out the ingenious arrangement. His daughter brought her own tent, in the foreground for use when it got too cold in the box. It often did!! Amazing...

Guaranteed HOT showers with plenty of water: In the morning, use the water stations to fill up your solar shower(s). Ready for your enjoyment before you go back to the venues for the evening shows, and so portable.
Most days it feels like Nashville is a very small town and that my high speed internet connection has either given me whiplash or is making my life flash before me.

Camp E.T. and K.T. was indeed a nice place to hang out. Quite secluded and peaceful.
Life does go on after Bonnaroo as you will soon learn, if you are a patient Mouse on Sticky reader.
